Because I don't exercise often (or at all for that matter) besides walking around campus I really monitor my calories, and that's what's especially helped me lose the weight I've lost in recent years. Liquid calories especially is the first thing I cut out and then I just had to watch portions control (which I picked up from hanging out with all of these tv people, all they do is nibble if they're not eating an actual meal). A person's weight is such a personal thing, it seems like what works for one person doesn't work for someone else, so if you're excited about this new program then that's great! I'm so proud of you going...Thanks for sharing! I'm so proud of you going to the gym every day. I have my membership, but with the kids, I can't seem to ever find the time. I too would love to lose some of my baby weight, but I really need to concentrate on being healthier. I have an app on my iphone that works the same, you can track your calories. It's a very visual reminder of how you are doing. I'm going to resolve to do better and try to get my act together and make it to the gym more.
